Yellow Power Ranger is a designation given to one fictional character in the Power Rangers TV series. The Yellow Ranger is most of the time a subordinate member of the Power Ranger team and the teams’ morale boosters and usually is the level-headed one in the time of crises. The Sword of Darkness was given to Tommy to finish off the Power Rangers, but in the end Jason defeated the Green Ranger in combat and Jason destroyed the Sword of Darkness. The destruction of the sword released the spell over Tommy, making him a Power Ranger.
